Landscape Installation Crew Leader

Job Description:

Snow Creek Landscape is seeking a Crew leader for our Landscape Management division to help take Snow Creek Landscaping to the next level!

This is a part-time, year-round position with one of the largest Landscape companies in the greater Asheville Area. 32 Years and going strong!

Part-time - Fridays and Saturdays only.

Shifts starting at 7:00am, working 8 to 10 hours. 

This position is located in Arden, NC and is an hourly position with a pay range of $17.00 - $19.00/hour, depending on experience.

What we are looking for in our next Crew Leader:

• Enjoys being outside, working with a team, and interacting with customers and employees.

• Partner with supervisor and customer to install/implement landscape projects, based on contract.

• Have a strong understanding of popular horticultural practices around landscape management.  

• Preparation, installation, removal, ongoing maintenance activities and/or treatment.

• Install hardscapes (brick pavers, patios, water features, timber walls, and rock walls) according to overall design, based on contract.

• Use landscape enhancement equipment to support overall design.

• Prepare, install and clean up landscape enhancement projects.

• Work with Account Manager, Supervisor and Project Representatives

• Manage crew members in team approach to complete the design.

• Help install outdoor lighting with crew.

• Create a safe and clean work environment.

• Input and manage time for crew toward job(s) in time tracking software, daily and by payroll deadline.

• Work toward creating a “how to” for your processes with your Supervisor and Account Manager.

• On-the-job training with other crew members and staff and throughout the year with training events.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned for operational and business needs required.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) years as a lead or foreman (preferred)

• Must be able to follow instructions and lead others with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail needed

• Ability to read and follow plans

• Manage a small crew to meet deadlines.

• Have general knowledge of horticultural practices and/or planting techniques.

• Great communication skills

• Valid Driver's License (required)

• Time management and project management
