Job Description:

Snow Creek Landscaping LLC is looking for a dynamic self-starter to help design and implement a new employee growth initiative!

With a focus on recruitment and retention, the HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's human resources activities.

We want to partner with our staff and outside resources to ensure our employees have the skills and knowledge to exceed our customers' expectations! 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates to open positions. 

  • Engage in our community and evaluate partnerships that drive recruitment.  

  • Manage the recruitment process for new employees, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, onboarding, and I-9 verification. 

  • Create and oversee employee growth programs to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform and advance in their jobs safely & effectively. 

  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR issues, including performance management, compensation, benefits, and employee relations. 

  • Maintain accurate records of employee information, including personnel files, benefits information, and performance evaluations. 

  • Administer employee rewards and benefits to increase employee satisfaction. 

  • Plan company events that encourage employee retention and appreciation. 

  • Process weekly hourly payroll & maintain payroll database. 

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance. 

Additional Duties Include:

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future job openings. 

  • Work with leadership in developing employee growth goals.  

  • Collaborate with managers for 90-day and annual review process. 

  • Ensure that the company's HR practices are aligned with the company's overall business objectives.  

  • Maintain consistent communication with staff regarding events, benefits, and policies. 

  • Assist in the OSHA compliance process. 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and preferences. 

  • Attend job fairs and other recruiting events to attract potential candidates. 

  • Evaluate and make recommendations for improvement to the recruitment and retention processes including technology, tools, and systems. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent applicable experience.

  • Proven experience in Human Resources, specifically in recruitment, employee relations, and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with business goals.

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time, 32-40 hours a week. 

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience.
